1Who we are and what this site is

The battlemetrics.ru site is a game server monitoring service. The owner of the service is the sole proprietor Maxim Sergeevich Suvorov (INN 543317138517, OGRNIP 323547600120282), hereinafter “we”.

We do not sell, rent out or host game servers, have no access to them and do not manage them. We query them over the open Valve A2S protocol and show what they answer, subtracting signs of fake online.

We are not affiliated with the publishers and developers of the games whose names and marks are mentioned on the site.

2How these terms are accepted

This text is a public offer within the meaning of Article 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. By starting to use the site or registering, you accept it in full; it cannot be accepted partially or with reservations.

If you disagree, simply do not use the site. Disagreement has no other consequences.

Registration is intended for people aged 14 and over. If you are younger, you may create an account only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for it.

3What is free

All of the monitoring: server lists, server pages, online charts, wipe history, the calendar, player search, server check, the account, favorites and notifications. No registration is required to browse.

We have only one paid service — server promotion, section 7. Everything else on the site is free and meant to be.

4Account

You can sign in with an email and password or via Yandex ID, VK ID and Steam. Steam tells us only a numeric identifier — neither an email nor a name — so it is not the primary sign-in method.

One person — one account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. If you notice someone else's sign-in, end the sessions in the settings and change your password.

We may restrict access or block an account for fake online, spam, attempts to bypass the site's protection and for claiming other people's servers. When blocking, we explain the reason.

You can delete your account yourself, in the settings, without corresponding with us.

5Where the data comes from and what we do not promise

Data is shown as is. A game server may report false information about itself — inflate its online, use someone else's name, pretend to be another server. We look for such fakes and flag them, but do not guarantee that we have caught every one. We guarantee that we look honestly.

We are not responsible for what happens on the game servers themselves: their rules, administration, in-game purchases, preservation of progress and player behavior. A dispute with a server owner is settled with the server owner.

The site may be unavailable during maintenance or a failure. We do not promise round-the-clock availability and do not charge for downtime — there is nothing to charge for, the site is free.

6For server owners

You may add and verify only servers you actually manage; verification requires access to the server's settings. An attempt to claim someone else's server page is grounds for blocking the account.

The owner is responsible for the content of their server's description, rules and contacts. Advertising third-party services outside the places intended for it, insults and materials prohibited by law are forbidden.

It is forbidden to artificially change a server's position in the lists: to inflate online with bots and client emulators, to create extra accounts for reviews and votes, or to exploit site bugs. If you find a bug, report it to us instead of using it.

7Server advertising — the only paid service

Only labeled ad placements can be bought: the “Promoted” block above a game's list, “Server of the day” on the home page, first place in search for chosen words, the first row of “Similar servers” on server pages and a highlighted wipe in the calendar. Every placement is marked “Promoted” or “Ad” and stands apart from the organic results; the placements, their rules, prices and display days are visible before payment.

A campaign goes through moderation before display starts. Links and emoji in the caption, advertising of third-party services, names of other servers and networks in the search words and anything prohibited by law are forbidden. The ad leads only to the server's page on our site.

The following is not for sale and cannot be bought for any money: the online value, the credibility score, a place in the organic results, a place in the “Honest top” and removal of a fake-online flag. Promotion does not shift organic positions by a single row — this is a promise from the home page, and it is repeated here on purpose so that it can be referred to.

Promotion of a server caught faking online is stopped. The settlement procedure in this case is described on the “Payment and refunds” page.

Advertising can be paid for directly per campaign or from the balance — a prepayment for ads topped up in your account. How payment, the balance, receipts and refunds work is described on the “Payment and refunds” page.

8Automated access and data export

You may export data with scripts, but at a reasonable pace and via our programming interface — its description, keys and limits are on the “API for developers” page (/api). Bypassing rate limits, distributed crawling and scraping data through search pages are grounds for blocking the address.

Search pages are closed to robots precisely because such crawls eat resources needed by live visitors.

Game server data is public, and we do not claim exclusive rights to it. The texts, design, site code and the results of our processing are ours. When using our data, a link to the source is required; passing it off as your own is not allowed.

9Reviews and other visitor content

A review is an opinion about a server, not a platform for advertising. We remove insults, threats, incitement to hatred, advertising of third-party services, links to other platforms and obvious spam. Every review goes through an automatic check before publication: it tells advertising from opinion and does not judge whether the review praises or criticizes the server. If the check made a mistake and your review was not published, write to us via “Contacts” and a person will reconsider the decision.

By leaving a review, you allow us to show it on the site. A review by a deleted author stays without a name: it is addressed to other players.

10Flags and appeals

A server with confirmed signs of fake online or copying is removed from lists, search and overall counters. This is not deletion: the server page stays open by direct link, and it shows the flag, the reason and the date. We do not publish the exact thresholds: a published threshold stops working the next day.

A flag is reviewed by itself: the signals are recalculated every 10 minutes, and if none is confirmed for a full day, it is removed without contacting us. If you think it is a mistake, verify your rights to the server and file an appeal in the owner dashboard or write via the “Contacts” page; the review procedure is described on the “Why a server is flagged” page. We will check by hand and reply within 48 hours on the merits, not with a form letter. If the flag was a mistake, it is removed, and the server address is excluded from automatic checks for 30 days.

11Liability

We are responsible for the operation of the site itself within the limits established by law. We are not responsible for lost profits, for decisions you made based on our data, or for the actions of third parties — server owners, payment services, sign-in services.

If you violated these terms and thereby caused harm to us or other visitors, you are responsible for it.

12Changes to the terms

We may change this text. A new revision is effective from the moment it appears on the site; the revision date is at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes on the site, and to registered users by email.

If you disagree with the new revision, stop using the site and delete your account.

13Law and disputes

The law of the Russian Federation applies. Write to us first at info@battlemetrics.ru — the pre-trial procedure is mandatory, with a 30-day response period.

If no agreement is reached, the dispute is settled by a court under the jurisdiction rules established by law. For a consumer this does not cancel the right to choose a court at their place of residence.
