Beyond: Integration

A feature-expansion mod designed for the Beyond Dimensions mod, providing enhanced network management features, utility commands, and additional functionality.

Note: In the following content, Dimensional Network will be referred to as Network.

Overview

Beyond: Integration is a feature-expansion mod designed for the Beyond Dimensions mod. It provides enhanced network management features, utility commands, and additional functionality.

Network Management Commands

CommandDescription
/bdtools network infoDisplays detailed network information, including storage status, member list, and capacity usage
/bdtools network listView the list of networks on the server, supports paginated display
/bdtools myNetworksView networks the current player has permission to access
/bdtools openUsed to open the network interface (can view and normally use other networks' interfaces; 4 interface parameters are available, but several of them are identical)
/bdtools openAnyThe OP-enhanced version of the original Open; can view any network's interface (allows administrators to efficiently inspect things)

Member Management Commands

CommandDescription
`/bdtools member addMembers to `Batch-add network member permissions for the specified player
`/bdtools member addManagers to `Batch-add network manager permissions for the specified player
`/bdtools member removePlayers `Remove a player from the specified network

Utility Commands (Requires OP permission level >= 2)

CommandDescription
`/bdtools network giveTerminal `Generate a portable terminal bound to the specified network
`/bdtools network batchCreate `Batch-create the specified number of networks for the specified player; not enough networks? Use this to create them like crazy
`/bdtools network insert `Insert resources into the specified network (supports fluids, items, FE)
`/bdtools network generateResources `Generate test resources into the specified network
`/bdtools network giveEnchantedBooks all`Give enchanted books containing all max-level enchantments

Other Features

  • Number formatting uses the International System of Units (K, M, G, T, P, E); (the numerical units weren't great to choose, so the International System of Units (SI) standard was used directly)
  • Supports both Chinese and English command output (defaults to English output; can be changed via config to output Chinese; output translation is handled by the server side).

Enchantment Separator

Automatically separates the enchantments of enchanted items into individual enchanted books (can be configured on or off).

  • Automatically triggers separation when enchanted books with multiple enchantments (or other enchanted items) are placed into network storage (regardless of how the enchanted items are input into the network);
  • There is a network enchantment separation toggle on the left side of the network interface;
  • The separation process consumes experience, with the amount consumed based on enchantment level and type (consumes experience fluid and books from the network);
  • Base experience cost and level multiplier are configurable;
  • A "same-type same-level enchanted book auto-merge" option can also be enabled in the config: books with the same enchantment and same level placed into the network will automatically merge into a higher level (stops when reaching the enchantment cap).

Integration with Other Mods

Timeless and Classics Zero (TaCZ) Integration

  • TaCZ crafting can additionally draw materials from the network (Shift+Click for batch crafting); crafting output can be chosen to go to the inventory or the network;
  • Independently displays the current network ammo reserve above the TaCZ gun HUD;
  • Guns can extract bullets from the network;
  • Compatibility with taczaddon: an additional mode-switch button is displayed to isolate them from each other (this method is used because the performance cost brought by compatibility is too high).
  • Compatible with TACZ: Gun Protocol (Tacz-Unidict) universal ammo: guns using TUD universal ammo can also draw ammo from and reload from the network (only 1.20.1 Forge, because only 1.20.1 has TUD).

Superb Warfare Integration

  • Vehicles can be bound to a network by a player holding a portable terminal and right-clicking the vehicle, allowing them to obtain ammo reloads and charging from the network;
  • Displays the network's Superb Warfare universal ammo depot on the right side of the BD network GUI;
  • Supports reloading from the network for all guns in this mod;
  • When holding a gun: displays network ammo count and FE energy in the top-right corner of the gun HUD;
  • When driving a vehicle: displays the bound network ID, name, ammo, and energy above the vehicle's passenger HUD;
  • The network bound to a vehicle can be viewed via Jade.

Thirst Integration (requires a thirst-type mod to be installed)

  • The network feeder can manage both hunger and thirst: mark food and water-containing containers on the feeder, and it will automatically replenish water by tier; a water-replenishment tier button is added on the right side of the interface, along with a "health regeneration mode";
  • Adds a "purified water" series: dirty water, slightly dirty water, acceptable water, and purified water (these exist only in the network, no need to find special buckets);
  • Through mixin, thirst is made compatible with the network furnace to execute purification recipes, automatically assembling and inputting the corresponding fluid and containers from the network into the furnace;
  • Water buckets/bottles taken out of the terminal will be marked with purity, and when placed back into the network they will be split back into the corresponding fluid by purity;
  • Water replenishment supports the following mods: Thirst was Reclaimed, Thirst was Taken, Legendary Survival Overhaul;
  • Compatible with Create: empty buckets/bottles can be filled with water from the network using a filling machine, and water can also be progressively purified using sand filtration.

For Beyond Dimensions

  • Added player inventory + 3x3 crafting table / anvil / stonecutter / grindstone / smithing table / enchantment merging interfaces to the Beyond Dimensions terminal GUI;
  • Beyond Dimensions blocks: drop-preservation setting (does not save the bound network and inventory); can also be Shift+Left-click copied, and can be cleared through crafting;
  • The enchantment merging interface can operate on an item's enchantments, allowing individual enchantment selection, level dragging, and result previewing; supports max-level/clear/restore, and cleared enchantments refund the price difference to the network (requires configuration);
  • Optional "workbench sacrifice activation" balance option: workbenches other than the crafting table and terminal require sacrificing a corresponding vanilla workbench by default (configurable) to be used (network-level; once activated, it applies to the entire network);
  • Bucket / fluid bucket crafting support: when a bucket is missing for crafting but the network has sufficient corresponding fluid, the fluid will automatically be used as a substitute; buckets containing fluids stored into the network will automatically be split into "fluid + empty bucket";
  • Auto-charging: the toggle button is on the left side of the terminal GUI; it automatically extracts FE from the network to charge the player / the corresponding network's maid;
  • The suction range and interval of the network magnet / network hopper are customizable; item suction and fluid suction each have their own tier and work independently;
  • Adds maid accessory capability to the portable terminal to provide network functionality (all network features this mod adds for maids require its support);
  • Can directly use totems of undying from within the network (usable for maids and players).

Support for Other Mods

  • JEI integration: when the BD terminal is open, JEI item entries and the left-side favorites bar display network inventory counts; Shift+Left-click takes one stack, Shift+Right-click takes 1; after enabling the server-side switch, the main network can be displayed and items taken from in any interface;
  • Refined Storage (RS Integration) compatibility: by blocking the buttons RI adds to the BD terminal and having BI add corresponding buttons itself to be compatible with RI;
  • Holding the dimensional network terminal and right-clicking a sentry robotic arm adds it to the ammo box; when reloading, ammo is automatically consumed from the network connected to the terminal.

Tips

  • Starting from 0.7.0, the Beyond Dimensions dependency is upgraded to 0.7.30;
  • Installing the Cloth Config API mod allows you to modify this mod's config in-game;
  • Storing ammo boxes into the dimensional network by any means will automatically extract the ammo within and keep the empty box;
  • The network interface block can automatically extract ammo from the network ammo depot and convert it into items;
  • Superb Warfare ammo and ammo boxes input into the network are automatically converted;
  • Network-related features require the corresponding network access permissions;
