A mod for exploring beyond our own planet and into the outer reaches of space!

This is not meant to be a hyper-realistic mod! My goal was to keep the general style and gameplay of vanilla Minecraft the best I could, but with outer space. And some creative liberties, of course.

This is mod is still being updated! Sometimes updates might take a while though.

Milky Way

A full, visitable dimension! Enjoy flying through space in a spaceship and reach for the stars!
Visit planets by approaching the appropriate structure in the spaceship
Build a space station on the asteroid belt, featuring all-new space station blocks!

Moon

Can you win the space race and be the first to reach the moon?
Find research tunnels, abandoned lunar colonies, and more!

However, if playing with Quark, add

celestialexploration:milky_way

to the blacklist for the Big Dungeon in the Quark config! Trust me.

How to install Celestial Exploration?

Install Forge for your Minecraft version, download Celestial Exploration for the same version and loader, put the file into the mods folder and launch the game with the loader profile.
