OFFHand KeyBind

A client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft Java that separates off-hand item use from Minecraft's normal Use key.

A pretty good example on how this mod is effective is that when you hold a bow without any arrows in vanilla minecraft, after holding the Minecraft's Use action (normally right click), Vanilla tries the main hand first and then falls back to the off hand if the main hand does not handle the action.

This mod changes that behavior:

• The normal Minecraft Use key only attempts the main hand.
• The new Off-hand Use key only attempts the off hand, skipping the main hand.
• Off-hand fallback from the normal Use key is also completely disabled to prevent accidentally calling off hand use.
• This is useful when holding Wind Charges in off hand, and a bow in main hand.

The dedicated key is registered in Options > Controls > Key Binds > Offhand Keybind. It defaults to Mouse 3 / middle click and can be rebound like any other Minecraft keybind.
