This clientside mod gives falling blocks a bit more life by rotating them to face the direction they're flying towards. Additionally, it applies some squash & stretch to them based on their speed, the amount of which can be fully configured and disabled on a per-block basis.
The mod is entirely clientside, so you can play on any server with this.

How to install Vectorientation?
Install Fabric for your Minecraft version, download Vectorientation for the same version and loader, put the file into the mods folder and launch the game with the loader profile.
Which Minecraft versions does Vectorientation support?
Vectorientation has builds for Minecraft 1.18–1.21.1, 1.21.3–1.21.8, 1.21.10–26.1, 26.2–26.3.
Is Vectorientation needed on the server?
Client only — no need to install it on the server
