This time, the monsters hunt you. 😈 Gone are the days of brain-dead mobs shuffling toward you like free XP piñatas. EnhanceM tears down vanilla AI and rebuilds every encounter from the ground up — turning your familiar world into a battlefield where every mob fights back with a plan. 🛡️💥

Skeletons that kite you. Spiders that web you in place. Zombies that duel you like swordsmen. And an Ender Dragon that finally, finally acts like a final boss. 🐉 Survive if you can. Thrive if you dare. 🔥

🧠 Smarter Mobs. Deadlier Nights.

• 🏹 Skeletons now play keep-away — retreating when you charge in to avoid free melee crits, and hunting you down to close the distance when you try to escape!
• 🕷️ Spiders have a 50% chance to slap a cobweb under your feet after landing an attack. Careless players become caught players! 🕸️
• 💥 Extended Reach: Every hostile mob (the Monster class and its subclasses) has its melee attack hitbox extended by 0.5 blocks horizontally, above, and below. Hiding on that two-block pillar? Think again! 📐

🗡️ Zombie Combat, Reimagined

• 🏃‍♂️ Vindicator Sprint: Regular zombies (including husks and zombie villagers) wander at normal speed, but sprint at Vindicator speed (0.35) during pursuit!

• 🧰 A true toolbox, not just swords:

  • Zombies have a 90% chance to spawn armed (10% remain empty-handed), rolling across five material tiers: 🎲 Copper (25%) · Iron (25%) · Gold (30%) · Diamond (15%) · Netherite (5%)
  • Within each tier, zombies roll: Sword (18%) · Pickaxe (18%) · Axe (18%) · Shovel (18%) · Hoe (18%) · Spear (10%)!
  • 💥 Deadly Enchantments:
  • Sword zombies: 25% chance to carry Fire Aspect II or Sharpness III. Yes, it hurts! 🔥
  • Spear zombies: 25% chance of Knockback I, 5% chance of Knockback II (70% un-enchanted). They fight with the vanilla spear charge AI: charged thrusts and tactical backpedaling to keep you at pole's length. Skewered at a distance!
• ⚔️ Swordmaster Zombies: A sword, an empty off-hand, and a flawless two-hit combo with no attack cooldown. Duel them at your own risk!
• 🛡️ Sword-and-Shield Zombies: 25% spawn chance to carry a shield in the off-hand (movement speed 0.23). They raise their guard between attacks, and half the time counter with a guarded thrust, shield up the entire time. Breaking their defense is a skill, not a given!

🔥 The Nether Fights Back

• 🐗 Piglins:

  • Crossbow bolts send you flying with heavy knockback and 1s Slowness.
  • Swords burn with Fire Aspect II. 🔥
  • Spears shove with Knockback III.
• 😱 Piglin Brutes: Their hits slam you with 1s Slowness and force you to the ground — 1 second of crawling humiliation!
• 💀 Zombified Piglins: They hold at the edge of melee range and rapidly pull back after every successful hit. Hit-and-run warfare, Nether style! Fully armed with Fire Aspect II blades and Knockback III spears.

🐉 The Ender Dragon — A True Final Boss

• 🩸 Triple health & rapid fire: Health multiplied by 3x. Fireballs launch significantly faster. The End is no longer a speedrun formality!
• 💜 Ender Breath: 50% of fireball impacts unleash Ender Breath across a spherical area — randomly teleporting you across the arena and enraging every Enderman nearby!

• 🪓 Ender Minions:

  • Every 20% health lost, the dragon summons a wave of Ender Minions wielding Netherite Axes — 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 4 across the five stages (14 total)!
  • They teleport when struck and dodge arrows completely before impact!
  • They target whoever damaged them in the last 5 seconds, or relentlessly swarm the nearest player. Good luck!

✨ New Gear for Brave Souls

• 🙏 Divine Blessing (Enchantment):

  • A Totem of Undying for your armor! Cannot be obtained via Enchanting Tables; applied exclusively via Anvil to Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings, and Boots.
  • When your gear would shatter, it's saved at 5% durability instead. (At 5% or below, it breaks for real).
  • Where to find: Bastion Remnant treasure chests (50% chance); other Bastion & Nether Fortress chests (10% chance).

• 👟 Swift Boots:

  • Same base stats as leather boots, but lets you sprint 1.6x faster on land at the cost of double hunger drain. Fully enchantable!
  • Where to find: Bastion Remnant treasure chests (50%), other fortress chests (10%).

• 🌀 Rebirth Pearl:

  • Channel for 5 seconds to escape anywhere, teleporting straight back to your Overworld spawn. Taking damage breaks the channel, and the pearl is consumed either way.

⚖️ Balance & Quality of Life

• 📈 3x experience gain — your enchanting table will thank you.
• 💀 Death drops never despawn (mob drops keep vanilla behavior). Your hard-earned loot waits for you.
• 💣 Creepers, evolved: Half move at normal speed, half at sprint speed (0.35) — and the slow ones douse you in Blindness, Nausea, and Slowness II for 5s after exploding! 🌫️
• 🌊 Drowned drag you under: Melee hits strip 5 extra oxygen bubbles, and they swim faster than ever (suffering Slowness IV on land, moving at 40% speed).
• 🐴 Horses gallop at 1.2x speed. Ride like the wind!

⚠️ Notice Regarding Version Changes: This documentation is based on version 1.3.1 (Minecraft 26.3). Compared to the older 1.2.1 (Minecraft 26.2) build, this version overhauls zombie pursuit and combat AI, converts Divine Blessing into an armor enchantment book with updated loot tables, introduces a crafting recipe for the Rebirth Pearl, and rebalances numerous mechanics (horse speed, Swift Boots sprint multiplier, spear enchantments, and drowned dry-land penalties). The overall gameplay experience is significantly refined compared to legacy versions! 🎒🎮
