Stat System
Build your character and explore a world with its own dangers.
Stat System adds RPG progression to Minecraft through player levels, customizable stats, regional mob levels, environmental mastery, and an expandable skill system. It also changes combat calculations, making it more than a visual stats overlay.
Character Progression
Earn experience from defeating mobs and spend stat points to develop your character.
Your main stats are HP, MP, ATK, MATK, DEF, and MDEF. Leveling also provides natural stat growth, while point allocation lets you specialize further.
Experience rewards account for level differences. Much weaker enemies become less rewarding as you progress, and mob-specific experience rewards can be configured.
Want to rebuild your character? The Regression Clock lets you reset allocated stats and recover their points after confirming the reset.
A World with Regional Danger

Mob levels are based on the world around them rather than simply following your player level.
Regional danger can depend on:
- Distance from the world's initial spawn.
- Dimension, biome, and nearby structures.
- Configurable difficulty modifiers and random variation.
Rare stronger and elite variants add further challenges, with particle effects to help identify them.
The goal is simple: grow stronger so you can venture into places that were previously too dangerous.
Combat and Environmental Mastery

Physical and magical damage are calculated separately, with attack and resistance categories covering slashing, blunt, piercing, fire, water, wind, and earth.
The mod also adjusts selected enchantment and status-effect interactions.
Environmental mastery develops separately from stat-point allocation. Surviving relevant environmental damage can improve your adaptation to heat, cold, falling, poison, and special environmental hazards.
Skills and Analysis Appraisal

The skill system starts with five active slots and five passive slots by default. Active slots support individually assigned key bindings, and skill points are used to increase skill levels.
The current built-in skill is Analysis Appraisal. Aim at a mob and activate it to inspect the individual’s level, stats, and registered skills alongside its name and 3D model.
By default, appraisal costs 10 MP, and appraising the same individual again is free. These settings can be changed.
The current release does not include a large collection of built-in skills. The system is designed to support additional skills through addons.
Customizable Interface

Features include:
- Character and stat screens with a radar chart.
- Custom HP and MP bars with animated changes and an HP damage trail.
- Movable HP/MP displays and layout swapping.
- Damage numbers and level-up effects.
- Settings for interface scale, colors, sounds, particles, and notifications.
Client preferences can be adjusted through the mod’s Mod Menu settings screen.
Configuration and Addon API
Configuration files cover progression, combat, mob scaling, experience rewards, environmental mastery, and skills. ID- and tag-based settings support customization for modpacks.
An API is included in the main mod for addon developers. It provides access to player stats, MP, experience, skill registration, combat modifiers, regional danger, environmental mastery, and additional appraisal information.
There is no separate Stat System API mod to install.
Getting Started
- Install the matching Fabric Loader and Fabric API.
- Place the normal Stat System JAR in your
modsfolder—not the sources JAR. - Find the Stat System menu key in Minecraft’s key-binding settings.
- Open the character menu to allocate points and manage skills.
- Assign Analysis Appraisal to an active slot and choose its activation key.
For multiplayer, install matching versions on both the server and clients. Addons that register skills also need matching client and server installations.
Current Scope and Compatibility
The current build targets Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric with Java 25. Forge, NeoForge, and older Minecraft versions are not currently supported.
Stat System changes gameplay calculations. Other mods that alter health, damage, armor, enchantments, or status effects may require configuration adjustments.
Build checks and automated API/configuration tests have passed. Live addon and dedicated-server multiplayer testing has not yet been completed. Back up existing worlds before testing.
