NoSpread

NoSpread removes vanilla launch randomness from standard projectile shots, making bow accuracy deterministic and improving projectile-based mace techniques like pearl catching.

Without NoSpread, bow shots and pearl catches can depend partly on random spread instead of only player aim and timing.

Installation

Install on the server, or in singleplayer. A client-only install on multiplayer servers will not affect server-authoritative projectile behavior.

Behavior

  • Removes vanilla projectile launch randomness.
  • Keeps projectile accuracy determined by aim and timing.
  • Affects server-authoritative projectile behavior.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft Java 1.21 through 1.21.11
  • Minecraft Java 26.1 through 26.1.2

License

NoSpread is released under the Unlicense.
