World Notes & Coordinates

A client-side exploration companion for Minecraft, combining world-specific bookmarks, notes, coordinate tracking, and a customizable minimap.

Available now for Fabric on Minecraft 26.3, manually tested in-game. Forge and NeoForge releases are coming after successful in-game testing.

Save and revisit your discoveries

  • Create named bookmarks with exact coordinates, notes, and dimension information.
  • Keep bookmarks separated by world or server.
  • Search names, notes, dimensions, or coordinates.
  • Filter by dimension and hide bookmarks to organize your list.
  • Customize bookmark name colors and gradients.
  • Track a saved destination with direction, distance, and dimension guidance.
  • Highlight the exact tracked block with a rainbow outline visible only to your client.
  • Teleport to bookmarks when the required server commands are available.

Explore with a detailed minimap

  • View terrain at one pixel per block, with coverage based on your client’s render distance.
  • See nearby items, neutral and passive mobs, hostile mobs, and players.
  • Filter marker categories, inspect markers by hovering, and read grouped counts in crowded areas.
  • Follow a compact player arrow showing your facing direction.
  • Open the expanded map and use your mouse wheel to zoom.
  • Automatically switch to a connected cave layer when underground, showing the cave you occupy.
  • Explore Nether terrain without the bedrock roof hiding the landscape, while retaining support for enclosed Nether caves.
  • Keep surveyed terrain cached and preserve mapping progress as you move.

Make it your own

  • Enable or disable the minimap through settings.
  • Drag the minimap freely, save its position, and return directly to gameplay.
  • Adjust map size, marker categories, and nearby height filtering.
  • Read coordinates and the day counter directly on the HUD.
  • Enjoy dimension-themed gradients for dimension labels and compass directions.
  • Configure keybindings through Minecraft’s Controls settings.

Permission-aware structure tools

The Cheat menu lets authorized players filter dimension-appropriate structures, locate them, and teleport to the results with a chosen arrival height.

These controls require operator permission level 2 or higher, access to /locate structure, and /tp or /teleport. They remain disabled when the required permissions are unavailable. The server determines whether commands succeed.
